Taja Siberians is a very small, family-run kennel with a handful of Siberian Huskies in southeast Michigan. Our dogs' health is always our top priority and all of our Siberians undergo CERF exams to clear their eyes and OFA clearances for Thyroid and Hips at the appropriate ages.
We are extremely active with our dogs and they are a major part of our lives. We show them in AKC, UKC, Canada and Central Europe and we show our dogs year round. Our children have also been active in a local 4H canine group, K9 & Kompany, in 4H conformation, obedience and agility and at the state and local dog shows and fairs.
Our dogs and cats eat a natural raw diet which includes meat, fish, eggs in the shell,
raw meaty bones and organ meat because we feel it is the best for them. We are happy to answer any questions you might have about feeding raw vs. a commercial kibble. The transition is very easy and much healthier for your pet.

We believe, as humans, that we have stewardship and dominion over the animals and with this comes great responsibility to them. We are staunch supporters of animal welfare and kind & humane treatment.
We are AGAINST PETA, HSUS and any other extremist animal rights TERRORIST group that manipulates the media and unknowing public with images of sad eyed animals and well-paid celebrities. Neither organization "rescues" anything but your money from your wallet. The Humane Society of the United States does not run a single shelter and PETA has destroyed far more animals than it has ever saved and adopted out. (Details at the links below)
Please donate to your LOCAL humane societies, shelters & legitimate rescues instead. Local shelters and rescues are very often running on a shoestring budget and, in most cases, nearly 100% of your donation is going toward animal rescue or keeping the shelter open.
Please do not send money to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) or to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Their names are purposely misleading. These groups are NOT about saving animals. Your money would be used by PETA and HSUS to fund acts of violence and terrorism and the defense funds of criminals and AR extremists.
HSUS runs NO shelters at all and is not affiliated with your local humane society.
PETA DESTROYED more than 90% of the of the animals in its care in 2007 and 2008!
